Chartered Loss Adjusters Limited maintains an Agency for a global player – Crawford and Company Incorporated, whose World Head office is in Atlanta, Georgia, United States of America and the International Office is in London, United Kingdom.
We are part of the World’s largest provider of Claims and Risk Resources for insurance Companies, self-insured multinational corporations and Government organizations. Our primary services are in loss adjusting, marine and aviation insurances, loss prevention and risk information analysis and other technical support services.
We are very experienced in oil, gas and energy claims. The major oil spillages by Mobil and Shell in January and March 1998 respectively were handled by us jointly with our technical assistants from United Kingdom and the United States of America. We have severally worked with other international Loss Adjusters as required and in fulfillment with the Insurance and Nigeria Local Content Laws of Nigeria.

The Management team is led by Mr. Darlington Mgbojikwe. He was, in August 1989, appointed the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer. He has various academic and professional qualifications including Bachelor of Science Degree in Industrial Physics (1977), Post Graduate Diploma in Insurance and Risk Management (1981) (WAII). Certification by CIIN (1997), a Fellow of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria (ILAN) since 1995 and a Fellow, International Federation of Adjusting Associations (IFAA). His experience in loss adjusting spans over 40 years and a Past President of the Institute of Loss Adjusters of Nigeria (ILAN) – 2007 to 2011 and International Federation of Adjusting Associations (IFAA) – 2010 to 2011. He is an Associate Director/COO and certified by Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN). He is a seasoned adjuster and has attended many Adjusting and Management Courses both locally and abroad.
